This Refund Policy describes the refund and cancellation terms for subscriptions to CRIYO, operated by Creator Lab.

2. Why We Don't Offer Refunds
We've chosen this policy deliberately, for the following reasons:
- Premium product positioning: CRIYO is a professional tool. We don't offer the lowest-cost option; we offer a high-quality, fully-supported one.
- Subscription model: You pay monthly with the freedom to cancel at any time. You're never locked into a long contract.
- Operational costs: From the moment you subscribe, we incur server, API, and support costs on your behalf. These costs cannot be recovered if we issue refunds.
- Abuse prevention: A no-refund policy ensures fair treatment of all paying customers and prevents misuse of the platform.

3. What "No Refunds" Means
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
3.1 Subscription Fees
- Monthly subscription fees (Pro, Pro Plus, Enterprise)
- Annual subscription fees (if applicable)
- Partial periods (if you cancel mid-month, you do not get a pro-rated refund)
- Fees paid for any billing period that has begun
3.2 Add-On and One-Time Charges
- Add-on services purchased separately
- Custom configuration fees
- Setup or onboarding fees
- Premium template purchases (if introduced in future)
3.3 Other Charges
- Charges for unused features
- Charges during plan downgrades
- Charges during periods of account inactivity
- Charges incurred before account suspension or termination
4. Cancellation
4.1 How to Cancel

We will confirm your cancellation within 24 hours of receipt.
4.2 What Happens After Cancellation
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for any subsequent billing cycles
- You retain full access to CRIYO until your current period ends
- After your billing period ends, active automations will stop and your account moves to a read-only state for 30 days
- You can re-subscribe during the 30-day window without losing data
- After 30 days of inactivity, your data is permanently deleted (see Data Deletion Instructions)
4.3 No Pro-Rated Refunds for Cancellation
If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a refund for unused days. You will continue to have access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We do not offer refunds, including in the following situations:
- You forgot to cancel before the next billing cycle
- You used CRIYO less than expected
- You're dissatisfied with the results of your Instagram automations
- Your Instagram account is restricted, suspended, or banned by Meta
- Third-party integrations (Razorpay, Meta API) experience downtime
- You changed your mind about the subscription
- You found a competing product
- Your business circumstances changed
If you believe your situation is truly exceptional (e.g., a serious technical failure that prevented you from using CRIYO for an extended period), email support@criyo.ai with full details. We will review on a case-by-case basis but are not obligated to issue a refund.
6. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
In cases of duplicate charges, billing errors, or unauthorized transactions on our side, we will refund the duplicate or erroneous amount within 7-10 business days.
To report a billing error:
- Email support@criyo.ai with the subject "Billing Error"
- Include your transaction ID, date, and amount
- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
Note: A duplicate charge is not the same as a recurring subscription charge.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate your account
- Block future signups using your payment details
- Report the chargeback to credit and fraud prevention services
- Recover any chargeback fees and administrative costs
8. Refunds Required by Law
Notwithstanding this policy, we will issue refunds where required by applicable Indian consumer protection laws, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Reserve Bank of India's guidelines for payment failures, and court orders or rulings by competent authorities.
In such cases, refunds will be processed within the timeline mandated by the applicable law or order.
9. Refund Processing (When Applicable)
In the limited cases where a refund is approved (Section 6 or Section 8):
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Processing time: 7-10 business days for Indian payment methods (UPI, cards via Razorpay)
- International refunds: 10-15 business days
- We will send you an email confirmation when the refund is initiated
10. Subscription Renewals
Your CRIYO subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.
We will send you a reminder email 7 days before each renewal. If you do not wish to renew, cancel before the renewal date through any of the methods in Section 4.1.
11. Plan Changes
11.1 Upgrading Your Plan
- Upgrade takes effect immediately
- You will be charged the difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle (pro-rated)
- New features are unlocked instantly
11.2 Downgrading Your Plan
- Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
- You retain access to your current plan's features until the end of the current period
- No refund is issued for the difference in pricing
- Some features may become inaccessible after the downgrade
12. Free Plans and Trials
CRIYO does not currently offer a free plan or free trial. All access requires an active paid subscription. If we introduce free trials in the future, the specific terms will be communicated at the time of offer.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
